Air Tent FAQs
The big questions answered.
What are the benefits of an air tent over a pole tent?
For starters, they're faster and easier to pitch because the air poles come pre-attached. Simply pump them up and away you go. Air tents are also taller and wider to give you extra headroom and living space. Plus, they're extremely robust. Whereas traditional poles are prone to snapping in windy weather, air poles absorb pressure for ultimate strength and stability.
How long does it take to put up an air tent?
When first pitching an air tent, it should take you no more than 15-20 minutes. However, with experience, you should be able do it quicker. First, peg down the corners, then inflate the air poles using the pump included. Peg the remaining peg points and guy-lines, then attach the bedroom pods. Finally, attach the groundsheet if your tent doesn't have one sewn-in.
Are spare air poles available for air tents?
Absolutely. While we don’t sell air poles separately, we do hold them in stock as free spares for customers. The good news is that you'll probably never need one because they're super-tough and built to last. In the rare event you do, just drop us a message and we'll send one free of charge. However, if you've owned your tent for a long time, there may be a small fee.
