This chair is advertised as lightweight, although it is not the lightest small packable chair, the price makes this great value.. pound (lb) for pound (£) it is far better than paying 3 times to save a few ounce..
The 'sand mat' base is included, stitching looks good and is comfortable to sit in.. if there is a down side, it is low down (about 12" /30cm seat) from the ground
